Willow School Council

The School Council represents the children’s voice, giving all children at Willow Primary the chance to share their ideas and have their say.

The children meet every fortnight to discuss any ideas and initiatives that have been passed on to them from their classes.
Each class from year 3-6 has two representatives, who are fair, responsible and trusted member of the school community. These representatives have been voted for democratically.
School councillors also pass on any issues that arise and are brought to their attention. The school council then discuss and plan how to tackle these things.
Recently, the school council has fundraised money through hosting ‘Fabulous Film Friday’ nights for all students. These events raised money for new playground equipment. The focus this year is to raise money for the new books for each year group.
