At Willow Primary School, R-Time is a key element of our personal development and behaviour curriculum. It supports pupils’ emotional wellbeing, social development, and positive behaviour while helping to create a calm, respectful, and inclusive learning environment.

  2. Random Partner Pairing
    Pupils are paired randomly to promote inclusion, equality, and positive social interaction with a wide range of peers.
  3. Meet and Greet
    Pupils practise polite communication and respectful social interaction.
  4. Structured Activity
    Pupils take part in short, focused activities designed to develop teamwork, communication, cooperation, and problem-solving skills.
  5. Reflection and Feedback
    Staff guide pupils to reflect on their learning and behaviour, reinforcing positive attitudes and emotional awareness.
